The survey email brought me back to the forum because I didn’t want to do a survey without checking it out. Glad To be back on here and read the posts again.

✅✅✅ Be sure to have your RV model, year and last 6 of vin ready, it’s the 2nd question on the survey.

Would love to see a section on the forum for possible Campout “ideas” that are less work/more fun for our rally hosts. Perhaps even some junior hosts to volunteer to do a few smaller type campouts in some of the more low traffic areas near our homes and you never know how we might meet more Heartlanders close to home because many times the long drives and limited dates cause many of us to miss the one or two state rallys.

The rally hosts certainly put a lot of time and effort arranging/organizing the chapter 'rallies'. You used the word 'Campouts', that while we were AZ members, the 'campouts' were much less formal and different than rallies. Attendees would determine any activities but generally would be pot lucks for a meal or two, and evening campfires...

Exactly. A new “host” may not invest time and funds into making a rally as extravagant as former chapters did. We didn’t spend our funds extravagantly, but used our budget to pay for items that folks may not have spent money on themselves. We subsidized or paid the cost of some more expensive meals, we paid for tickets to museums, secured a tasting class and food with a deposit, subsidized cost of t-shirts, purchased promo-items for giveaways, bought items for doorprizes... many of these will not be options because a rally host may not have enough funds left over from a previous rally.
