have question for heartland landmark owners we have a san antonio 2013 does the thermostate
in bed room run heater or just the one in hall,because the thermostate in the hall had a short for that thermostate dealer put a seperate one in for heat

The T/stat in the bedroom only operates the front AC or Heat Pump depending on which option you ordered

Yes, the thermostat in the bedroom operates only the A/C in the bedroom. The thermostat in the hallway operates the furnace for the entire house and the A/C in back of the house.
