Hot Water Tank Material??

Hello folks,

I noticed recently that we don't have anode rod in our hot water tank. I see there is no need to install anode rod in aluminum hot water tanks...
Any chance it's an aluminum one in 2017 prowler lynx 285 lx? How can I figure it out?

Find the markings on the water heater as to brand and model. Do an internet search on that brand and model for a manual or materials information.

Thanks! I see the hot water tank model is Atwood GC6AA-10E, and looks like it's an aluminum tank. I see Atwood says no need to use a anode rod in their tanks.

have a 2018 Torque 5th wheel with AL tank. Use a magnet & you will know for sure.
