Houston to Illinois - April 2009

Getting ready to head out of Houston, from the rally in the morning and head home to the Chicago area. Was planning to caravan with a couple others but I have now planned a re-route so I can stop in Iowa to visit my mother.

Hope to spot some Heartlanders on the way:

Tuesday Apr 7: Norman, OK to Kansas City, KS - Lawrence KOA
Wednesday Apr 8: Kansas City, MO to Fort Dodge, IA - camping in Mom's driveway
Friday Apr 10: Fort Dodge, IA to Marengo, IL to Streamwood, IL - Home Sweet Home

Added water to the tank, put on the tank heaters and furnace for tonight. Brrrrr.

Thanks John. Lin & I were traveling with Martin & Heather Pope and I did a slight change of plan. They stopped at our original c'ground in Hope, AR. Lin & I got a call from Wigley's who were about 90 miles farther north. We decided to keep going and visit with them for the evening. We are at I30 Travel park. Leaving for Sikeston, MO. in the AM for a few "throwed rolls".
