Jim, I think you were on 75 and 69 in Oklahoma not 67 and yes 69 is rough from McAlester south. But you missed the best part of it by not heading south at Big Cabin and taking 69 all the way. Lake Eufaula is beautiful, we use to live on it and spend a couple of weeks there in the spring and fall crappie fishing. We stay at Terra Starr campground near Eufaula. Its a passport America park and we stay there for $11 a night with 50 amp hookup and wifi. This year when we left Terra Starr we crossed over to 35 at Durant, its better to go thru Fort Worth than Dallas, but still went over most of the rough stuff but stayed at Thackerville and went to the casino there that night. Stayed at a passport america campground that night $12. You should think about joining it. Course we can't deduct camping. At Waco we hit 77 and usually stay at Victoria the night before we get to the Valley. Going home we usually take 281 thru San Antone and then 35 and get north of Austin that night. But we always leave on a Sat. so we're going thru Dallas on Sunday morning.
