Hello!
Another newbie question - Bighorn 3570 2015 with 4 way Anderson valve - how can I put bleach in the fresh water tank (to sanitise)? I can't see the tank or any opening to be able to do this.
Thank you

Hi Tiddler,

One way is to attach the hose to the water inlet with the other end disconnected.
Add the bleach mixture to the hose.
Connect the hose to the water faucet.
Set the 4-way valve to TANK.
Turn on the water faucet and use the water pressure to push the bleach mixture into the tank.

This is the exact method I use....works great.

You can use the hose method as has been described. Another method I use involves a $10 pump I found at Walmart. I power the pump with my cordless drill. The outlet of the pump has a male garden hose connection so I can connect it to the city water inlet with a short length of hose. The pump inlet has a connection for plastic tubing (1/4" ID ??) so I can attach a 12-18" length of tubing that I insert in a bucket or jug of bleach solution. If I were so inclined, I could also use this setup to put antifreeze in the water lines for winterization. Since we F/T, my winterization method is known as ATF (Arizona, Texas, Florida).

I really like your method of winterization instead of using antifreeze. I hope I am able to do the same at some unknown future date.

This is the way I do it too. I use all my hoses so they all get sanitized.

Thank you very much for your response. I will give it a go. I thought I should be able to see the fresh water tank and fill it but obviously not. Thank you again.
