How do you clean the fireplace

We have had our rig a few years and my wife has detected some cobwebs inside the fireplace behind the glass. I got the owners manual out and it says how to remove the unit from the wall but, nothing about taking off the glass.

The wonderful thing about the Heartland Owners Group is this has happened to someone else.

So how do I get the glass off to clean the fireplace for my wife and life will continue to be charming?

Although I have a different model fireplace the process should be the same.
Just remove the fireplace as instructed and you should see how the glass will come out.
It will either slide out or there will be a couple of screws.
Scoop the ashes, clean the glass and cobwebs and your good to go.
