hubcap mystery

I have a 2008 Heartland Razor toyhauler fifth-wheel. Have owned for two years with no real issues. Last week I took the trailer out and when returning home realized I had lost the chrome Dicor hubcap on the right rear axle. Looked at the wheel and couldn't see anything that looked bad so I just said "ok" and looked on Ebay and found a replacement the next day. Installed the new replacement yesterday and while driving the trailer back to storage and to dump the tanks, when I arrived, not more than two miles of travel, I found that the new hubcap was now missing. I'm glad the Pastor wasn't standing there as I would have had some explaining to do. What is going on? Same wheel, lost another hubcap. No luck finding the new one on the road or in the ditch.

Hi LR,

I would pulling the wheel and checking very close for cracked spokes, Sounds like you got to much flex.... or a ghost that likes hubcaps.

They make 2 different sizes of those hub caps, depending on the size of your lug nuts.
