Now if I could just split the high and low speed wires in half, connect the the two halves together, I would have medium speed.;) Ken

I am trying to hook up a honeywell programmable thermostat using your above suggestions. Furnace works well but AC will only work in the run postion not in auto. Any clues or suggestions?

UPDATE: It now magically works! I think maybe it was in the compressor wait stage and that is why it would not start. Thanks for the diagrahm!

I used a Honeywell PRO5000 and brown wire on 'G' gives low fan, blue wire on 'G' gives NO FAN, and hooking them both to 'G' gives high speed fan. My question --
IS THIS OK????

cgrn59, you will be ok. If you get a small SPST switch and put it in the blue wire you will be able to have high and low fan.
Look on page for of THIS DOC.
Peace
