As you can see, it's a little icy at Lake Hartwell in SC as the fishermen prepare for the bassmaster classic.

ice storm 2-17-15.jpg Yep - this was my drive to work this morning. We still have about 1" of ice on the trees and roads which is unusual for east TN. 3rd day that the kids are out of school tomorrow and probably the rest of the week with -3 and -8 degrees temps the next couple of nights.

Ice is definitely the most dangerous and destructive. Be careful. Lot of difference between being in North and South. When we lived in TN a couple inches would shut things down in Ohio it takes at least a good 6 to 7 inches to slow things down.

Bunch of sissies! I worked a structure fire two mornings ago at -18F and spent two days unfreezing our kitchen sink drain.

What campground is that? We go to Hartwell a few times a year, always use COE Oconee Point.
We are staying about 2 miles from Bristol Motor Speedway. -2 tonight, -5 tomorrow night. Woohoo
