If your under the RV

Should you be under your new Heartland Bighorn or other Model I would check the Lower outer edge of the slideouts/trailer body/including the front near the front Jacks. On the street side of my bighorn the vertical plywood edge was exposed and not caulked like the opposite side. It's appears someone forgot! Because the other side was done.
Not a hard job, 2 tubes of silicone caulking and 20 minutes, I still have to figure out how to get behind the metal brackets that obstructed my aim. Going to try a short length of tubing.

The first pic is the damage after 2 years.
I had to hide the edges on the plywood for the 3 rear slides.
I thought they had that covered in 2011 models.
There are more post on this subject.

Wow that is ugly, the exposed ends were on the wall the slideout, thats why I was so glad to catch it, the doorside front was the lower edge of the storage compartment and it looked like it just wasn't covered with the Darco cloth, so I was glad I found that. Other than those two places the bottom looked tight.
I was looking for possible MOUSE freeways into the trailer, still have to plug up some very small holes near the slideout mechanisms and the spread the Bounty Dryer Cloths.

To cover the slide piston rod opening, a piece of rubber with a hole cut in it does the trick. Self-tapping sheet metal screws to hold it (helps to pilot drill first). I left the Gorilla tape on that I used to position it. Mine came from an old inner tube.

Thanks John, especially for the picture, I've been looking at those wondering how, knowing it would be rubber, but hadn't thought
about inner tube. Right now I'm working more days then I like but as soon as it lets up I'm on it, bot to get it secured before mice season and thats coming quickly.
