Just to let you know, I'm still around, although I haven't been on the forum much in the last three months. I've been enjoying life in Washington on the Pacific coast and doing some fishing, digging clams and general sightseeing. We love this area and plan to spend the winter here. Thanks for thinking of me.

Good hearing from you ! We visited Olympia WA in July of 2006... I was very impressed with the area too. I loved the fresh veggies and berries we were able to get at the local farmers market. They even had fresh sea food at one open air farmers market. That year while the temps were bumping against 100 degrees across the midwest... we enjoyed a very pleasant month of lows in the 60's and highs in the upper 70's to low 80's.

Let us know how the winter months go... I'm sure you've already experinced the wet spring conditions... if you have any comments about the area... they would be very interesting to read as well...
