Wanted to say hi to our new family!
We just signed for a Big Horn after looking for a replacement 5th wheel for 4 years. We previously owned a 2008 Jayco Recon ZX toy hauler, which was extremely reliable and we loved (love) very much. But after a few years of ownership we realized only a few times a year did we ever need room for 8-12 people (tent time for all of them now, hehehehehe). And triple axles are a hassle when parking. So we started looking several times each year at different 2+2 models. Montana's, Big Horn's and a few others. Although not perfect, this model was close for us. It has a residential fridge which we are still on the fence about but otherwise seems like a well spec'd unit.

We look forward to sharing ideas adventures, asking questions, etc. with the forum and hope this new addition to our family treats us as well as we treat it.

Hi rsg1963,

Congratulations on the new rig and welcome to the Heartland Family and to the Owners Forum. Feel free to ask any questions; there's a great bunch of friendly and helpful people here who are quick to reach out when you need help.

We have some owner-written user guides you may find helpful as well. You can reach them by clicking on the TOOLS tab at top of page and selecting HUG-Heartland User Guides. Here's a link.

Let me also give you a link to the Owners Club Information page. Joining gets you into local and regional rallies at no charge. And there's even a free introductory membership.

Congrats on your 3760EL. We just purchased one as well, and will take delivery on June 22nd. We made the switch from a Bornfree 32' Class C motorhome, to the Bighorn. Can't wait to get on the road.

Congratulations on the new "HORN" and welcome to the family. Rod is correct about "your new to be family". But like all families there are a few crazy ones. Crazy good and lots of fun lovers. Just beware of water balloon fights now and then and stuff (non lethal). Most of us are just reliving our childhood and its more fun now, cause are parents are not yelling at us.

We were up at the factory for a tour a couple weeks ago.We wanted to see the 3760 while we there because no one in Florida had one. They had one on the line, but it was at the beginning,so you could not really get a feel for it.On the way back to Ft.Laud. I called Camping World in Ft.Meyers to see if they had one yet.I had talked to them before we left and they said they were expecting one in.It had come in so we diverted over to there on the way home. The pictures don't do it justice. This is a beutiful unit. We have decided to buy this and are looking forward to living in it full time.

The pictures are great, but after seeing it in person was even better. After looking at literally 50 plus 5th wheels, and still undecided, we knew this was the one right away.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! We are actually taking delivery the 27th of this month. And seriously the pics do not do the unit justice, it really is nice and the staircase got us. We currently have a 2006 3500 Ram dually that we will be replacing with a 2016 Ram 3500 mega cab dually. We also look forward to meeting you all and joining a rally somewhere. :) Now I need to figure out how well six 6 volt Trojans fit in the generator comparent and how much roof space for solar panels there are. Anyway, thanks again everyone!

Congrats on your new unit and truck. We are new to the Heartland line and Love it. Can't wait for our 1st rally in August. Joined the Heartland club immediately. Love our new residential referg. Take note, the little sticky thing on front does not work. Buy some referg. bars from camping world to hold the heavy stuff. Inverter WORKS GREAT. Be sure to refer to the residential refrigerator guide in the Headland forum when it comes to winterizing and cold weather camping, has a lot of good information. Again, welcome, and enjoy your camping experience.
