Kitchen Island

Hi
has anyone noticed their kitchen island seems loose? Ours is secured to the floor but the entire side panel fell off and im
nit sure why (except that the staples they use are too short) is this a huge frame twisting issue or just a simple fit and finish? I am going to reattach it no issue just wondering if it’s an issue?

Poor fit and finish. My island was loose and I pulled the bottom out of the storage shelf and installed a 2 x 4 attached to the floor along the side and end and then used finish nails to attach the sides to it. Now it is as solid as a rock.

I put it on one side and one end. I have had no problem with the bottom shelf.

My island collapsed onto it's base. There is a toe kick completely around the island. The entire island and all its weight was supported by tiny staples through this toe kick base into the frame of the island. The staples sheered right off from the weight. Build them as cheap and as fast as you can.
