Lake Powell campgrounds

Headed to Lake Powell and plan on staying on the AZ side if possible. Any recommendations for campground in or around that area? Want to explore the lake and also take in Antelope Canyon for sure. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance for your suggestions. We are pulling a 34' Hearland Greystone 5ver with three slides.

We never stayed in a campground because we were usually pulling the boat and camped up Lake. Good Sam's Web page lists two on the Arizona side, Page Lake Powell and Wahweap Lodge. Personally I would avoid the Wahweap Lodge one just because of noise, and congestion but that is me. There may be some on the Utah side since the state line is just yards away from Wahweap and some of the ramps are in Utah.

We stayed at the Page Lake Powell Campground on Coppermine Rd near Hwy 98 last fall on our way to the Las Vegas Rally. Decent place for the desert. No issues at all. As I recall, most sites were back-in.
