Landmark Slides Question

We have a new 2013 Landmark that we are just thrilled with. Very nice product but I notice something that I am trying to find out if it is normal or not. We have three slides two hydralic and one electric all three slides seem to extend or protrude more at the bottoms than at the tops. When I measured all three they all are 1" wider at the bottom than at the top of the extended units. So my question is, is this normal and part of the slide build or do I have three slides that are not in alignment when extended. When closed all three are just about evenly closed against all interior walls. The biggest issue or difference is with the 16 foot off door side slide. So what do you folks think?

If the top of your slides are tight against the interior seal when fully extended then I would think everything is normal. Just run your hand along the top of the slides (behind the decor fascia) and check for any gaps.....you should be able to feel the tightness of the seal.

Jim,

I understand the roofs of slide rooms are tapered. That is to say the they are lower at the outside wall. This is to help shed water.

But - perhaps you are talking about slide room depth??

Dave and Jim, maybe he is seeing the top of the slide stop before the bottom does when extending the slides. Mine do that and have been for over 5 years now. They dont leak went out or in.

Bob and Patty,
The slide are all the way out when I see and measure the difference. One is not even on the inside when extended and the dealership mechanic says he has no more adjustment left to correct this. It is only 1/2" and does not leak but it is off. may even be the inside facia that is off not the slide. Guess I should just leave it alone since i do not have any problems other than a mere cosmetic imperfection.:)

Something similar, the slides on my 3670 RL 2011 do not fit flush when fully open. How much space between the wall and facia should there be? All 4 are about the same. Also when upgrading the breaker for slides and ldg gear is there a post that tells you how to do it
