After reading the posts we must be weird. Our older sweetie cat,. Jen, always traveled on our laps (yes we realize she would no doubt be ejected in the event of an accident, but she never has been crated). She loved looking out the window and enjoyed the drive-thru's at fast food restaurants [when not RV'ing]. We did camp with her a few times before she passed away and the litterbox fit under the counter in bathroom but the litter got everywhere. We want to adopt a new cat but are resisting due to the mess and occasional cruises which would require boarding with a strange vet/kennel. So the modification under the bathroom sink is brilliant and might even help us to adopt a new cat sooner than expected! Thanks for a great solution.

We tried the cat in the carrier in the truck. Drove us nuts with the cat howl. And I guess he would think the "enclosed" carrier was also a "enclosed" cat box, so he would pee in the carrier - and it stunk!

So we tried letting him free range. Drove us nuts with the cat howl and walking - climbing all over.

So now he rides in the trailer and he seems to love it. But He still is trying to figure out why the view never changes looking out the bedroom room "slide" window.
