"Location" link in poster info corner gives error

I recently have tried using the "Location" link near a posters name only to get a page with the message that "Google Maps can't use this application".

Might be a google maps issue, I got the same message on another site looking for a business. Chris

It did the same thing when I clicked on your location Bill.

That link is part of custom code that is part of HOP (Heartland Owners Position) which is one of those passion projects we did, a long time ago because we could and it seemed fun.

The reality is, not a lot of people keep their position manually updated each time they move. For this reason, we will be retiring this item in the future.
