We are at Fort Chiswell RV Park in Max Meadows, Va. with Dick and Reta Hill . Yesterday we spent the day touring the area around Claytor Lake ending up in Floyd, Va. There we had lunch and spent the afternoon walking around town until the FUN started around 6:30 at "The Floyd Country Store Friday Nite Jamboree" there they started the evening out with Old Time Gospel then went to Bluegrass, that went on for about 3 hours then we went outside and the streets were full of people and music. There were 6 bands set up along the sidewalk playing more "Traditional Appalachian music" and they do this every Friday nite all year long. Today we are going to the "Old Fiddler's Convention in Galax, Va.
