Missing seal

4 door frig when closed I can see thru the two doors in the middle into the frig, there is a half inch gap. Is there supposed to be a seal or rubber strip?

Typically there is a flap on one door that swings over and makes contact with the other door.
Do you see a flap on one of the doors?
What brand and how old is it?

This is a common problem with most of these four door things. The center flap is dragging on the bottom. To fix this, you will need to remove the left hand door and place nylon washers on the hinge to raise the door a bit. The top hinge bolts are under a decorative panel that snaps off by the center control panel.

If a Dometic RM1310, there is a kit that fixes the problem of the flap not closing. Flap mounting brackets: new part #s 3851102024 and 3851103022. They should be sent at no charge by calling Dometic.

Lubricating the pins and brackets will also help.
