Moving the recliners

Our Bighorn has rocking, vibrating massage recliners. They're nice, but unless you move them away from the wall when you get to your destination, they aren't that useful and, of course, when you leave you've got to move them back.

Simply put, they are heavy and a pain to move with no good way to grip them. I've given it a lot of thought and really can't figure out how to make this task easier. Obviously, wheels are out.

Has anyone come up with a handy way to accomplish this?

We have the same recliners and agree they are heavy and awkward to move. We placed plastic furniture movers (hardware stores)to the bottoms of the chairs using Velcro straps to secure them to the chairs. It's funky but my 110lb wife is able to slide them into watching tv or securing them for travel position. Good luck and I'm sure you will hear other suggestions.
