My Girlfriend fried my inverter on motorhome so I disconnected it. When we got home she plugged motorhome into shore power why do I hear a fan runnin?

My inverter fried on motorhome so I disconnected it. After plugging into shore power I hear a fan come on and then shut off. Is my converter being overcharged?

Do you have a converter and inverter?
Motor homes can be a little different than towables.
Perhaps a motorhome forum would have the answer you seek.
