We are supposed to pick up our new 2013 L/M Sequoia later this week. Is there anything we need to know or anything we need to watch out for? Excited, but not educated to Landmark except to know they are supposed to be great RV's to own! We welcome any help in getting started. Previously owned pull trailers, Class C M/Hs, and one 30' fifth. Thanks!

Hi Donail,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and to the family. We have a great bunch of folks here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge when needed.

I'm sure since you have had other units you know how things work. But when you go to do your PDI make sure that the Sequoia is hooked up to water and electric. Then check every thing from top to bottom. Make sure everything works and you can work everything. Check out the TV's operation and sound system,, make sure you know how it works. Lots of new stuff, new ways to do it.

Enjoy your new unit and think of joining us at a rally when you can to meet lots of great Heartland Owners and eat lots of good food.\

Make sure you get a clear explanation of how to winterize. If the frig has an ice maker, be sure to understand the controls used to winterize the coach along with the location of the water supply cutoff valve (make sure you can see it).

Check for any switches that are missing labels and find out what they control.

Find all the remote controls and check them out.

We have had little contact from Dealer (disappointed) but hopefully we will get good service. Thanks for the heads-up on newer ways to do things. Excited.
