We have had our 2016 3875FB for just under a year now, moved into it for fulltime living in Sept 2015 and we could not be happier! We love this floor plan. One thing we did not realize was the "insulation" factor for the bedroom, inbetween the front bath and the downstairs living area, it makes for great sleeping.
5FB!
We got down into some chilly temps this past winter here in Silver Springs, FL, upper 20's, high 30's and we never ran the heat all night, we were nice and comfy.

We are getting ready to pack up and head north to Massachusetts for the summer for our first workamping job. I just retired a week ago LOVE RETIREMENT, and Gary retired in August 15 and we both are enjoying this life tremendously.

Wishing you nothing but the best with your new 3875FB

You'll definitely want 2 batteries to keep the refrigerator going while towing and if you have a night of camping without shore power. The batteries should be the same type, size, age. So you may want to get help from your dealer to put in 2 RV/Marine Group 27 batteries and let him keep the one from the factory, if that's really all they ship (Rob might just be wrong).

Btw, the auto leveling will work just fine with 1 battery. It needs a battery with a good charge on it, but 1 will do just fine. The residential refrigerator can draw quite a few watts, especially in warm weather. You might be ok towing, since the truck will supply some power to keep the trailer battery charged and help run the inverter. But running the frig overnight on 1 battery will probably run a single battery down far enough that you might not be able to pull the slides in come morning.

My understanding is that Heartland ships 2 batteries with the 22 Cu Ft. residential refrigerators. I think on some models using 16 Cu Ft residential refrigerators, they might ship just 1 battery and that might be ok.

But of course, things change all the time, so what was true last month may have changed.

Our 3270RS had two 27 series Interstate batteries installed. Don't know if it came from Heartland that way or whether the dealer installed. We have the 18 cf electric/propane Norcold refer. Nice to know you have that second battery for endurance.
