Newbie

Hi -
My wife, Anne and I are new RVer's, new to the forum and new owners of a 2014 Heartland Sundance XLT 285TS. We purchased a 2011 GMC 3500HD Diesel a year ago with 19000 miles on it with the idea of using it to pull a 5th wheel. Have been looking for the past year and finally found a lightly used 5er that met our needs. We picked it up last Thursday. Now to get it equipped and ready to travel. I'm sure we'll have lots of questions.

Hi wizardofoz,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and to the family. We have a great bunch of folks here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge when needed.

Be sure and check out our Heartland Owners Club. Join us at a rally when you can and meet lots of the great folks here and make friends for a lifetime.

Enjoy the forum and your new to you Sundance.

Congrats on your Sundance and welcome to the HL forum. Lots of knowledgeable people here so ask away. Hope to meet you down the road. Make sure to check out the HOC. That's the best part of owning a HL rig.

Welcome to the Forum and Congratulations on the new Sundance! You should consider bringing that new Sundance to some of the upcoming rallies in your area. We have the Northern Nevada Chapter Rally in Sparks in the middle of June, the Northern California Chapter Rally in September at the Jackson Rancheria RV Resort in September, the Southern Nevada Chapter Rally in Pahrump on the 3rd week in October, followed by the Southern California Chapter Rally in Temecula the following weekend.

And like Jim said, joining the Heartland Owners Club would be a wise choice and then Heartland RV's pays for your $20.00 Chapter Rally Fee if you attend the rallies. Please don't hesitate to reach out and ask if you have any questions.

Thanks all for the warm welcome and we look forward to participating in the forum and joining the club soon. The first thing someone can tell me is how to post photos. I'm used to just uploading them, but when I tried that here it wanted a URL and I'm not familiar with loading photos that way. Thanks, Bill

If it defaults to URL, there should be a button to switch to "From Computer".

But forum software may require you to get 3 posts before you can add a picture.
