Noisey LPG regulator

I have been hearing a noise in my Big Horn that I thought was the water pump, but the water pump was off. After reading a few post about noisey LPG regulators, I have come to the conclusion it is the regulator I have been hearing.

So now I know what is making the noise, what is the fix?

I know very little about LP systems and leave most issues to the experts. If I had a noise like you describe, I would first make sure the direction valve on the regulator is fully turned one way or the other and make sure your tank valves are open all the way. If that doesn't work, I would go to an LP place or my dealer for further advice.

I too had the noisy reg. I took it back to the dealer and of course it wouldn't do it for them. It has done it one more time since then and the only thing in common with the first time was the tank was getting low. Both valves fully open and if I switched to the full tank it would stop and back to the low tank it would start again. If you get the cause let us know.
