North Trail 30RKDD Caliber bedroom TV Bracket

Just purchased a new 2012 North Trail. It has the bedroom in the front with a door from the hallway and also a pocket door from the bathroom. This pocket door wall is where I want to hang a TV since there is a cable and electricity access on that wall. The service people are not sure how to mount a bracket since the wall is only 1/8 in thick. Sorry I can't supply a picture as I have not picked up the unit yet.

Hello Rp2485 and welcome to the forum.
Normally the wall that has a pocket door does not have much if any support for a TV. So you may have to look at mounting the TV elsewhere, maybe with an articulating arm.
I would give Heartland Customer Service a call. They should be able to tell you if and where a backing plate might be located.
You may also get a reply from another owner having the same floor plan that has some information for you.

Peace
Dave

Richard, is there a wall plate on that wall in the bedroom? You should be able to tap on the wall around that area to determine what's behind the paneling. You could probably use a mount that allows you to detach the TV and store it for transport maybe under the bed or somewhere handy. You can also get push on connectors for the coax. Let us know how it all works out.
By the way, Welcome to the Heartland Forum & Family.

Thank you Ray. I will be picking up the unit on Monday June 25. I will inspect the wall closely when I get the trailer home. Thanks for your input
