Ocean Lakes, Myrtle Beach,SC

Arrived here in MB a couple of days ago, The weather has been Great , no crowds and no traffic on Rt. 17. There are 4 other Bighorns and 1 Sundance here as well none are Club Members. Will be here until the 23rd then heading to Savannah, Ga. for 3 nites before heading back home to Maryland.

we are heading for MB at the end of this month. Hope to stay there till XMass,
Anyone had experience in the late month of the year in MB.
We have been there often at Easter time but not in the fall.

Larry,Hitch up the trailer to one of those crows and come on down, went in the ocean yesterday did not encounter any jelly fish, one of the guys fishing did land a HUGE ray! would not like to run into one of those. Calvin

Long time ago when we used to live down in that area, used to ride horses up and down the beach in front of Ocean Lakes area. Gosh was that a long time ago!!!

We were at Ocean Lakes for the last two weeks of December last year - freezing at night but beautiful 50-60 degrees during the day.

Wish we were down there now....

Renee and I are very envious of you guys.We love it at OL. Have been going there every summer for years.We were there a few years ago the week of Christmas.Beautiful warm weather.But a couple years before that we were there at Christmas and it was cold. But we made it fine all week without anything freezing.Then the morning we left to come home, the black water tank was frozen.Had to come back home with a poop popcicle.LOL

We too love Ocean Lakes although it has become more and more busy over that last 10 years. Spent many November vacations there and went swimming while the locals looked at us like we were crazy! Calvin please make sure Judy stays upright! Enjoy!
