Oven Ignitor

Has anyone installed a (Piezo) oven ignitor on a Magic Chef? I have a 2011 3600RL Bighorn and it it VERY difficult to light the oven pilot light. I see on the forum that back in 2006 someone had installed a BBQ ignitor, but no follow ups on if it worked for any length of time.

Hi dcsynthetics,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners forum and family. I see you have been a member for a while, but never posted... hopefully you gained information just by reading the forum.

I do remember someone installing a Piezo igniter in the oven or converting it someway. Hopefully someone with a better memory will jump in and give us a link or even tell you how.

Meanwhile enjoy the forum and let us know what is happening.
