Oh sure, now you tell us. After I received the Sensar IV head I'm going to replace the Antenna Tek head with . Doesn't matter, if the Sensar is even a little better than the Antenna Tek, the wife will be happy. For me, there just isn't anything on summer TV that I find I have to watch.
...I get all the news I need from the weather report...
Here is an excellent site for aiming your rooftop antenna. CLICK HERE. Click on "choose antenna". Follow the instructions. You will need to know your zip code.
We saw these at the Richmond RV show yesterday and their factory rep was there also. He stated the Jack was made by the manufacturer of King Dome. The picture quality on the demo TV they had set up was very impressive He recommended adding a digital TV signal meter like this one http://www.adventurerv.net/king-controls-surelock-digital-antenna-signal-finder-p-23208.html to maximize the benefit.
They also have a new addition to complicate matters a little - http://www.mcssl.com/store/midwest-custom-rv/rv-electronics/king-dome-jack-w-surelock
So now I have to decide if upgrading the head and amplifier and saving 60 bucks is just being too cheap or if I should go for the whole new antenna!
From what I've read so far I think maybe the Jack is a better picture than the Wyngard? Anyone have any personal comparisons?
We don't use a satellite at all, only DVDs, cable if teh CG has it and the over air signals, plus we are often a little distance from major cities when we camp.
(the links are just ones I pulled up quickly to show the product, BTW. Have not shopped these yet at all)
