Pin box catches the side of my truck bed

I went and measured my rails for the Laredo cover. They stick into the bed 3" on either side. But there's been no problem with it.

I had the same problem with my 2007 Silverado new body style. After looking at changing the pin box to a short style Lippert (the trailer frame manufacture) had me move the pin box down 1 set of holes. Now I can lots of clearance even on unlevel turns. I now have a 2009 Silverado 3500 SRW and have no height clearance problems. Lippert sent me info on how to adjust and torque the bolts after the move. It's real easy just make you have two people and support the front end when the bolts are removed.
