Portable Generator to run 15K BTU air conditioner

.............Champion has a 3100 inverter generator that sells for about $900.
Saw a demo for it at an RV show, not a bad unit.
Should fit the bill, check it out.

The Champion 3100W looks like a better value than the Yamaha EF3000iS. About half the price and 58dB which is slightly quieter than the Yamaha's 60dB.
I'm trying to find dimensions on max. height. 22 inches is the max height for me to store it in the bed of my pickup with the tonneau cover closed.

I shall have keep all this at handy when saying buying a battery which will be easier to work with,I'll have to recharge and following a bud of mine who plays keys it'll last up 4 to 5 hours.
