Power Cord

Purchased a new North Trail 26RK 5th wheel last week. After outfitting it, I was headed to the storage lot but could not get the last 4/5 ft of the power cord stuffed into the storage area. After several attempts I gave up. Even left the entire cord in the sun to soften up but to no avail. Has anyone had this problem? Has anyone installed a Marinco conversion kit - 30 amp Park power?

TTrox, you might try twisting the cord as you guide it back into the compartment. This might cause it to coil and store better. I had a jayco 5th wheel with the same problem. The final fix was to remove the existing box and build a bigger one. It was an easy fix because I had good access to the box. I don't know how easy your access is.
