I made the jump after blowing 2 Goodyear G114s in the last year. I'm Done !!!
I moved to a larger heavier duty tire the Continental HTL2 Eco Plus 235/75R/17.5 Long haul trailer tire. They are rated at 6005lbs per tire so 24020lbs all together. About 1200lbs more per tire over the Goodyear G114s
Hey SteveCongratulations. I made this same swap about a year ago and love these new tires. I noticed a significant fuel mileage increase. Let me know if you see a mileage increase also.
Hi SteveJerrod, If I am not mistaken you have the Moreride IS on your rig. Do you see any difference in how the trailer tows and is there more bouncing? I need to replace my tires on our Big Country which has the Saulin's presently so the tire diameter is only .38 inches small on the Continentals which should not make any difference in the ride height. Were you able to use the same rims that you had? Also, did you make any changes to your TPMS equipment?
As always thanks so much.
Regards,
Steve
Absolutely AMAZING !!!! LOVE THEMJerrod,
Can you provide any update as to how the tires are working out?
Steve
Been a while since I've posted any upgrades. I felt this one should be on here !!!
We finally made it up to Liberty Lake Washington to have the spray-on roof done. We had it done at Liberty RV Roofs . It came out awesome, and now I no longer need to replace the Dicore sealant every few years, or ever again for that matter. it is completely sealed. When they took off the original 8 year old rubber roof the found very little damage, however there was evidence of some leaks over the years. The biggest spot was from my SELF INSTALLED Satellite dish, and some where we had a leak in Oregon at the Coax cable pass through. You will see the spots in the pictures before they sanded them off. Then You will also see on the finished product the Top is a gray color and the side are color matched white. He had taken a sample of our old rubber roof that was under a A/C and had somehow faded to a gray color. That was the first color he had pained the entire roof. When we first walked in to see it we both had that look on our face that that didn't look good or right to us. This was on a Friday, He wanted us to be 100% happy with it, so he had his guy come in on Sunday morning and repaint the edges to a color match the white of our full body paint. It came out perfect.
I will post the pictures from my phone
My New F-350 had 17K in damage from that storm and I wes right beside you. I also had 3.5 K damage to the 5th wheel.I forgot to mention, he called me the day that they removed the old rubber roof, and asked if we were in a Hail storm ?
Yes 2019 Goshen Rally !!! A lot of you may have been there and remember that day. WOW
We field the clame on the F350 hood, but not on the RV. Heartland replaced one AC cover and our main awning for free, which had holes in them both.
He said if it was in the last year, the Insurance would have probably paid for the new roof. Unfortunately this was several years ago.
