Well an update on Anderson valve
It's seems to be fine. I pulled the suction line to the W/pump and was getting I tinny bit coming back at first then it stopped. I tried turning the pump on and off to see if I could get it to start back flowing backwards through the pump and after a few hours I ended up with about 1/2 of water in the bucket.
So right now I'm thinking it's an intermittent problem with the pump and not the Anderson valve. So I'm going to plumb in the Sharkbite one-way check valve right after the pump. That should fix my problem of the fresh water tank filling up while on CITY water hookups. Guess I have an new Anderson valve to carry around if someone ever needs it.

Jim I watched it for hours and really never found an evident problem. I installed the one-way check valve and put everything back together.
Time will tell if my tank ever fills up again.
Thanks to you, Dan, and all the others.
I've learned a ton more about how it all works and now will be able to help others.

Jerrod,
hit the top and make it flat ie... take out the arch I do not know how you could ever hit the top with only 2 to 3 inches to work in. My next request will be for a hand full of the Teflon pads especially if they wear out this fast.
Dave, Where are the Teflon pads? I don't see any on my spline shaft
Did you post pictures of your repair? Hogan
Ya but kind of impossible to hit it with a hammer.thanks Jerrod, I see that now. Did you understand what Dave said about hitting it and taking out the arch? In your pic, it looks like there is an arch in the channel.
Hogan looks like yours are all centered to me. From those pic'sYa but kind of impossible to hit it with a hammer.

Next Mod
I mounted a motion sensor under the entry steps and wired it in the the porch light above the door. It is still on the switch also so you can override it if you want. But now as soon as you get neer the entry door area the light comes on.
We needed it the other night when we took the shuttle to the casino, then when we got back late at night they dropped us off it was pitch black out there. Not anymore.!!!!
The hardest part of both these Mods was figuring out how Heartland ran there wires and where to tap into them.

I tapped in at the switch in the control panel on this one. I ran a 18awg 4 wire (my roll of 16awg is not here yet)Where did you end up taping for full-time 12v + and the upper door light circuit?
