Well an update on Anderson valve
It's seems to be fine. I pulled the suction line to the W/pump and was getting I tinny bit coming back at first then it stopped. I tried turning the pump on and off to see if I could get it to start back flowing backwards through the pump and after a few hours I ended up with about 1/2 of water in the bucket.
So right now I'm thinking it's an intermittent problem with the pump and not the Anderson valve. So I'm going to plumb in the Sharkbite one-way check valve right after the pump. That should fix my problem of the fresh water tank filling up while on CITY water hookups. Guess I have an new Anderson valve to carry around if someone ever needs it.

Like in your picture mine is the same, I find it interesting that Heartland service says to hit the top and make it flat ie... take out the arch I do not know how you could ever hit the top with only 2 to 3 inches to work in. My next request will be for a hand full of the Teflon pads especially if they wear out this fast.

I don't even think mine are eaven touching. I don't see any marks up there.....
Well I take that back there are a few light makes about 1' long on the back and 1.5' on the front on the curb side slide. Not enough to were something out.

Jerrod - you may have some debris in the diaphragm of the pump. I believe the pump can be taken apart and the diaphragm cleaned. Never done it or seen it done but I believe I've heard of it.

Jim I watched it for hours and really never found an evident problem. I installed the one-way check valve and put everything back together.
Time will tell if my tank ever fills up again.

Back to the cargo box mounted on the spare tire carrier... Great solution for more storage. I'm thinking of storing the large area ground mats and perhaps my telescoping cleaning poles, etc.
I can order up the BAL spare tire carrier easy enough but not sure where I can easily get a metal box fabbed up on the cheap. Did you consider using plastic? Either way I've got some shopping to do.

Another Mod in the books.
Small Mod big Job....
I installed a 20" strip of LED lights under the bottom shelf in the entry closest. I wanted it to work with the motion sensor I installed last week. So I had to move the motion sensor down to the lower light because there is only 2 wires going from the switch up to the light in the ceiling.
Install the sensor and wired both light in.
Now as soon as you open the door all of the lights come on. I have them set at 1 minute so they turn off fairly quick after you close the door.

We needed it the other night when we took the shuttle to the casino, then when we got back late at night they dropped us off it was pitch black out there. Not anymore.!!!!
The hardest part of both these Mods was figuring out how Heartland ran there wires and where to tap into them.

I tapped in at the switch in the control panel on this one. I ran a 18awg 4 wire (my roll of 16awg is not here yet)
I ran that from the switch down into the basement area behind the wall then ran it in the loom with the side maker light wires back to the steps.

All of that work yesterday on wiring that motion sensor in the closest and making it look nice. Then after DW got home she reminded me that I was going to move that shelf down about 6" so the coats will hang right.
