Also understand that the longer the extension cord the less amps available. So use a quality heavy gauge extension cord.

Thanks. We are running an underground conduit from the panel to the above ground post mounted socket which will be about 40 feet then will use the power cord that came with the trailer (~20'?) to plug into the box. I will review with the electrician about the gauge wire. Thanks for the heads up on that.

I ran a fifty amp line to my Landmark Rushmore fifth wheel, however I'm only using a 30 amp breaker. I can run both ac set two degrees apart. But if I turn on the vacuum I'm done. Normally I use just one ac at home and everything else is good.
