Do you know there is another camping program out there? We just found out this one this past winter. It's called Ready Camp Go. http://readycampgo.com/
For as little as $99/year you can receive 30 nights camping at $20/night + resort fee at ANY Encore Resort in the United States. There are no 'black out dates'.
We purchased the Gold membership which gives us 60 nights of camping at $20/night, 2 months advance reservation dates and 14 day limit at a resort before you have to 'leave the resort for 7 nights' but can come back. OR, you can go from one Encore Resort to another with no 'out time')
So... by adding the cost of the membership (in our case $199/year), we can camp at Sunshine Key in the Florida Keys for $26/night ANY TIME ($20 per night + $3 resort fee + 1/60th of our membership). Now THAT is a deal. We have already used it in Arizona (Mesa) at some lovely resorts (one was Viewpoint and the regular nightly cost is almost $50/night).
If you enjoy going to Encore Resorts, look into it. You may save some $$ on your next camping outings.
