Has anyone had a problem with the recessed can lights not working unless you tap on them or move them around. I have several that do this, I'm thinking might be bad bulbs. If you just tap them a couple of times with your finger they might or might not light up or they will just flicker then maybe light.
Thoughts? I was also considering LED'S for these lights but I want to make sure all the wiring is good before I spend the money.

Thanks

David,
The halogen bulbs you are speaking of, are a push in type and they sometimes vibrate loose.

Remove the globe with a gentle counter clockwise turn.
Let the bulb cool, put a glove, or sock on your hand and remove the bulb. Don't handle the bulb with you bare hand, because your body oil can cause the bulb to break when it gets hot.

Gently
bend the two prong contacts out slightly,to widen them out. Replace the bulb by bending the prongs gently, if necessary to get it back in the socket.

That should take care of the problem. Trace
