Hi Tom and Doris,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum. There's lots of useful information here along with a great bunch of friendly and helpful people.

Can you describe what you mean by "icing over" in a bit more detail? Frost? Clear ice? How long does it take to happen? What climate are you in? How old is the frig?

Also need more information--do you mean your fins? or in the freezer? If the fins your small attachment to the fins may have come loose---is so put it back on in the middle of a fin and see what happens in a day or so--alos is your refer getting warm?

I have a suspicion it is frost/ice buildup in the freezer - in that case I would check the seal around the door.

Norcold put out a service bulletin a couple of years back about excess frost in RV fridges, which is helpful - here is a link. Off BryantRV website.

Hope this helps,
Brian
