Since we sold our Dodge PU and upgraded to the FL, I have purchased a new TSLB hitch from Hensley. Our BC pin box sits at 48" when towing level, while the bed of the FL sits at 40" with the suspension aired up. The hitch is 11 inches high so when I have the truck modified I will need to have the hitch inset into the bed 3 inches.
I had previously considered the Correct Track upgrade, but the additional 2 inches would have posed a problem with my Dodge...... Now I could use the extra 2 inches!
Now to my actual question...... Now that these units have been out for a while....... Are they worth the $$$ and time to install them?? I would especially be interested to hear from those of you that have added them on to your rigs. Looking at the coach tires, I have not had any issues of uneven wear or other signs of alignment issues. They are more appealing now, because it may simplify the modifications that will need to be made to the FL in order to properly install the hitch. The truck is currently set up for a goose neck.... Which is not an option for me.
Any advice would be appreciated.
