Remote for 12 Volt Light

On our 3585 Big horn our over the table light is hard to reach. Has any one installed a remote( my DW is too short)

In order to install a remote you would need to wire in a receiver into the power supply for the light. What about just changing to or adding a switch that has a pull chain on it?...Don
