I used to tow with a F-250 4x4 and can tell you that extra flaps make a world of difference when it comes to the grunge and rock chips that end up on the front of your trailer.
I used the Roadwing setup just 'cause it was easy to remove when I parked the 5er. Others I know have used the Enkay Rocktamers with good results.
Did you try using a "search" of the Forum for mudFlaps or splash guards? May be of some assistance.
I use a brand called sport guard that mounts to my 2" receiver.. They look very similar to the road wing brand. My 4x4 truck sits a little tall with oversized all terrain tires. I swear my tires seem to attract and throw every small stone on the road, so the mud / rock guards are a must for me when towing.
I bought a set of Enkay mud flaps a few years ago when I tried out the RV delivery business. The business was a mistake but the flaps have come in handy since then.
