Morning All!

The rubber molding on my 3400rl 2008 Bighorn has deterioated and I need to replace it. We are fulltimers and so a local dealer is not an option. Does anyone know where I can buy the molding online?(Its the rubber molding that seals the slides when they are slid in and we are traveling)

Thanks for any replies.

Mark,I am having to replace mine too.
Mine started deteriorating about a year ago.
It got real sticky and came apart when it stuck to the slide flange when the slide was in.
We were not parked under any trees so I don't know exactly what caused it.
I did find some seal at a local RV Dealer that would sell by the foot.
My Bighorn is a 2008 also. It seems a little early to be replacing rubber seal,
unless it was defective in the first place...ya know..
Of course I have had to replace or repair several more things also.
That's just the way it is out here.

Wipe them down with a good UV protectant ocassionally and the seals will last much longer. Apply some to a soft cloth and wipe the seals, both sides, instead of spraying or applying the protectant directly on the seal. You only need a thin film to help keep it soft and flexible so it will continue to flip back and forth as your slides go in and out.

Thanks Ricky..
I will try the UV protectant...but...
This is the bulb seal that came apart on mine, not the wiper seal.
But I am sure the Protectant would help on both seals.
So far the wiper seals that flip in and out with the slide are OK.

Thanks so much for all the replies. It is the bulb seal and not the wiper seal. I had been spraying protectant on and we are fulltimers and this is our sixth year in it so I expected stuff to need replacing.
