Replacing the top for a bathroom fan

Hi Everyone,
I was up on the roof doing some general checking and saw the top of the bathroom vent was cracked. Since we are in AZ and had no rain, it is not a big problem, but how do you replace just the top? of do I have to buy a complete new fan unit? I think??? they are made by Hagg and the size is roughly 14" square.

While your at it you should install a Maxxair type cover as well. It will keep any rain out and prevent the vent cover from cracking again.

There is a tag behind the screen that will state the name and possibly the model. Changed mine last year, it was like paper. Previous ones lasted 14 years. RVing is not like it use to be. But replacement ones are solid, should last much longer.


I would change 20 covers before installing one maxi. Never need them on 20 years and never will.

Most RV stores carry them. Since there are different types you should take yours off and to the store with you to get the correct one.
