If we remember to ensure that the flap is closed, the fridge works fine and it seems like it just takes the slightest pressure to cause it to flip shut if its hanging open.

That flap is a vital part that keeps the cold in. Dometic does have a fix so contact them ASAP.

Dometic has responded that they have the parts and will ship out no charge. All I need to do now is make shipping arrangements. That is complicated by living in Canada but there are ways around that.

Dometic shipped out of Canada so we got the pieces back at the beginning of March.

We retrieved the RV out of storage over the weekend and I changed out the guides the other day. There is a huge difference in the contour of the tracks and this new contour ensures that the flap will be closed. This will not be a reason that our fridge doesn't cool sufficiently.
