Roof Delamination

Hello all:

I just waned t let you know that our 2016 Sundance XLT 291QB TT roof had significant delamination underneath the rubber cover. Heartland has approved the replacement of the roof and I am waiting for that process work its way through.

If you own a new Sundance TT you should look for wavy edges along the roofline. If you see some you need to get your roof evaluated for delamination. This could technically happen on any trailer. The Sundance TT line is a new acquisition by Heartland and is made by Cruiser RV, it is called the Shadow Cruiser.

UPDATE: My roof was replaced due to the underlayment screws pulling free from the aluminum trusses. The fix was to add wood stringers between the trusses and screw down the underlayment to the wood stringers. A new rubber cover was installed as well. I hope this fixes the problem, the factory did report to the RV shop I used that there were other Sundance TT's with the same issue.
