Shelf under bed?

We just purchased a mallard m29 and love it so far. But under are bed in the storage area is a unfinished wood shelf with 2 legs. No clips or anything else. It was folded up under the bed. What's it for

Welcome to the posting side of the Heartland Owners Forum.

I'm not sure, but some of the travel trailers have a place that you can store the dinning table booth parts or legs under the bed I think. Hopefully some of our other Mallard owners will jump in soon with some good info for you.

We were told (when we were looking at campers) that it was a support for the dining booth when converting to a bed. Try that and see if it fits there. Jim
