I spent almost 50k back in April of 2024 on this Heartland Eddie Baurer edition pull behind camper. I used it once only to find that the shower does not drain. Then to find the seals come out with the slide outs. Camping World in Calera is telling me they are waiting on Heartland to approve repairs. I have been unable to use my camper for some time as it is still at camping world with Steve in service. Camping World advised me that the main shower has no ventilation. They are going to have to tear out the walls and run a pipe through the roof to vent the shower. I am very much concerned what else was not done or was missed in the creation of this camper? Also, will these repairs be done correctly and will not be a problem later? Now I feel I have paid good money for a product that is not right, and they have found other manufacturing issues and recalls that need repair. To say the least I am very disappointed in the Heartland brand. My wife and I did our homework and thought we would be getting a quality product that would last for some time. I told Camping World if the repairs have not been approved and completed by this Thanksgiving, we would have to involve others. we have already missed 2 family vacations that we had planned when we bought the camper. I just don't understand!!

Call Heartland yourself and ask if CW has submitted orders for repair. It's not uncommon for a dealer to say they are waiting for approval.

Thank you, I will do that tomorrow morning. I didn't know i could do that. It is a real shame if the dealer "Camping World" is being dishonest and discrediting Heartland over some repairs. Thank you for the good advice, I was assuming the dealer was being honest but should have verified!!

have the last six numbers of your RV VIN handy when you call. I had to call Heartland to get the ball rolling for repairs few years ago & this wasn't at CW.

So, you all were right, Camping World in Calera AL. has all the parts and approvals from Heartland. After months I still don't have my camper back but the payments keep rolling in. The fact that Heartland didn't put in the vent in for the shower is a manufacture defect and the work taking forever is camping world issue, in fact I called today, and they haven't even started on the work. I have used the camper one time and has been in the shop for repairs since. I am going to talk with an attorney and get some consultation. So frustrated have missed 3 family outing that we have had scheduled and the reason we bought the camper. If anyone has been through this, I could use some advice. Right now, Heartland and Camping World can have it, is how I feel.

There has got to be hundreds of threads on here stating that camping world, has a very poor reputation after the sale. Buying a unit from them is like a buying it with no warranty, they are terrible to deal with generally. They are too big for your own good. In the end buying an RV, is nothing like buying a car. Your warranty is only as good as your dealer, and if they suck . Your are screwed. You have to be very handy and honestly do a lot of the repairs yourself, or suffer the wait and see game with a dealers repair staff.
