Shower in North Trail 30RKDD

I swapped out the shower hose and head for an Oxygenics. Now I get water coming up around by the faucets. Is this normal, or did I break something?

did you crack the fitting on the hose or forget to install the washer in the end of the hose?
Did you use tools to tighten the hose? No tools should be necessary to tighten the hose ends. Over-tightening the hose could have broken the faucet possibly.


You should not have leaks if properly installed. You could use a bit of the Teflon pipe tape if needed to seal the threads.

Don't forget a picture if you have one.

It is leaking from behind the faucets. I am going to have to take faucets off to determine the problem.
