shower pan change out

Hey folks, got a 2020 Mallard 312. It's the "bunk house" so it has a little tub/shower. Well I would like to get rid of the tub bottom and put in place a normal shower pan. I know the drain does not go below the floor of the trailer, it goes towards the lower bunk and into the tank. I do not plan on making the shower pan flush with the floor, just would like to get rid of the high sides. Has anyone done this? thanks

You could do this, but I would think you would need to change the whole tub unit. Look at how it is installed and see how low the walls go to the tub.
Look underneath and see how the area is supported, does the flooring go all the way across or will you need to add more support for the shower pan?
